ALIS.KNITS Collaboration
Over lockdown, I was given the opportunity to work with one of my favourite Welsh designers ALIS.KNITS. Alis, who I met at an internship last year, is a knitwear designer that aims to inspire individuality with her jewellery, clothing and accessories. Her items are covered in words and phrases in Welsh, working on this jumper I learnt that 'Gobaith' means 'hope'.
The embroidered faces were created using chainstitch, the flowers use a satin stitch and beading. I have also included backstitch and embroidered text.
